Vee Six

Vroom Vroom. *giggle* Sorry, Mazda, but your motto is perfect -- for my new car.

Vroom? Why, yes, I am enjoying the brand new loaded silver 2002 Saturn AWD V6. A V6, you ask? Why, yes, friends, a V6!

Vroom? I am head over heels in love with the purring sound of the engine. It's so effortlessly smoove. Yes, friends, the car is fun -- and smoove.

How fun and smoove is it? Well, America, last night, Lindsay got in a play-fight with me about my driving too much.

I need to learn to let her drive the new car more, I'm told. I -- I just can't, though. It's just too damn much fun to hog the driving duties.

I guess the only drawback of the whole Vroom Vroominess thing is that, due to excessive showing off of the V6 power to Lindsay and others, I got crappy gas mileage from my first tank. 16 miles per gallon, that.

Make sure to note that the gas mileage will be better than that in the future. Mr. The Leadfoot has been re-replaced by Mr. The Normal, If Just a Little Too Aggressive Driver, uh, Man. So no worries there, chap.

It's so nice to have the vehicle totally loaded up with cool options, too. Sunroof? Drool. Loving it. Using it whenever I possibly can. 6 disc in-dash cd player? Hee. I love music. I love being able to have 6 discs in the player and being able to randomly play any track from any disc in the player. That's a good time. Plus Saturn didn't skimp on the sound system, either. Yum.

Overall, you can count me as very very happy with the new car. Lindsay, too.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled program.
