The Mo Eq The Mo Better

Tuesday, June 11, 2002

Leave me, gloomy cloud! Be gone!

The return of the extremely bright orange orb in the sky should help to speed up the happiness meter's ascent to happy happy happy.

And, look, friends! It has. I'm on the happy side again. A trip outside to the mailbox, complete with exposure to the sun healed what was ailing me. Healed me right upside the head.

I'd also like it if this person that I work with with the voice that is even penetrating my music would hang up the phone now. Can't... tune out... that... voice...That's a different story, though.

I'm so going to play basketball tonight at the park. If there is sun, I will play. If there is sun. I. Will. Play.

Last night I hopped on down to the park and played in a couple games of full court 5 on 5. America, I was crappy. I didn't have it. Just didn't have it. Didn't have anything. No spunk. No charisma. No shot. At all. My normally partially reliable J was nowhere to be found. Clank. Clank. Ker-Clank. I was dragging.

I'm having trouble finding ways to play to my strengths in full court games. In games of 21, I'm a man-monster hybrid. I'll nail a bunch of short jumpers. I'll nail a bunch of long jumpers. I'll dribble fairly well. I'll rebound like a crazed man-monster hybrid. In games, I just haven't had it in awhile. I think I need to find a way to implement my turnaround Js. I don't know jack about posting up -- still haunting me -- I'm usually one of the strongest guys and I just can't take advantage of it. Also, I need to work on taking it to the hoop, prefferably with reckless abandon.

But enough about basketball -- for now.

On the good news to me but why the hell would you want to read this front, Lins and my house refinance and home equity loan looks to be in really good shape. Should happen next week. We're doing the house at a full point lower than the original + it's only a 20 year loan now. The mo' equity the mo' better! Mo eq! Mo eq! Mo eq!

Right.

Thanks for reading!
