You Knew I'd WatchThursday, May 23, 2002
You really might not want to read this. Seriously. There is some bad bad bad language.
Celebrity Boxing II was, indeed, awful. The matchups were all horriffic. I can't believe I watched the whole thing again, though. Damn me. I know one thing: Manute Bol should still be in the L. The NBA. I miss him -- if only for how incredibly tall he is. He's a fun guy to draw, too -- at least he's got that going for him. I'm also impressed that he donated all the money from his appearance to the Ring True Foundation to help victims of the civil war that has raged in his native Sudan for nearly 20 years (the dude is already broke because he's given millions of dollars to them)... which I respect very much. Yes Celebrity Boxing is a stupid spectacle, but he wasn't doing it to fill his bank account. If you are doing it to get P-A-I-D, that's rather whore-ish -- I'm looking at you Joey Buttafuo-shoot-me-in-the-ass-and-hope-I-die-because-I-don't-deserve-to-live-co. What pure Human Waste he is. This motherfucker -- yes, he's a motherfucker -- is famous because he cheated on his wife with a deranged ho-bag who then tried to kill his wife. Yay! What a guy! Let's pay him money to box a girl! Great idea, Fox. In the beginning, he was supposed to box John Wayne Bobbit, which would have been much more entertaining, I think. Frankenpenis vs. Motherfucker. Unfortunately for everyone, Bobbit's parole officer wouldn't let him leave the state (or something like that). Let's just say that Joey didn't look like he was out of practice on the whole beating up on women angle of things. What a motherfucker. I just can't stop listening to Built to Spill's Keep it Like a Secret. It's so well done, so full, so pretty, so big. I always rock out when I listen to it. Such good stuff. You should check it out, if you haven't. I want to play basketball. I want outdoor basketball weather, America! I need me some warm and sunny with calm winds. It's just too damn windy again today. I guess I'm going to have to resort to jogging for exercise until Saturday or Sunday, looking at the forecast. Oh, three day weekend, how I look forward to thee. Is it Friday yet? Speaking of Friday: Tomorrow, May 24, 2002, the All News Channel will be running their feature on Lindsay and her business, Klay9Kreations. Be sure to check it out if you've got DirecTV! That's all I've got for now... thanks for stopping by, Eric |
